Donald Trump w. Elon Musk Interview Held

The European Union (EU) may have well engaged in election interference in the United States of America presidential election of 2024. They issued a formal letter to Elon Musk dated August 12th demanding Musk censor former President Donald Trump in his upcoming interview on X. The EU warned of “legal obligations” if Musk does not take action to prevent the spread of “disinformation.”

The EU warned Musk about Donald Trump’s livestream interview on X. EU Commissioner Thierry Breton said the EU will watch for “spillovers” that violate the Digital Services Act. He cited examples such as “content that may incite violence, hate and racism in conjunction with major political – or societal – events around the world, including debates and interviews in the context of elections.”

Musk and Trump are two American billionaires not to be intimidated so the show had to go on in the interest of American free speech and it did.

The Elon Musk interview of former President Donald Trump was supposed to begin at 8:00 P.M. Eastern Time but was about 40 minutes late as the X (formerly Twitter) social media platform owned by Elon Musk suffered a DDOS cyber-attack. A Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attack is a malicious attempt to disrupt normal traffic to a website. Once underway, the interview lasted about 2 hours. There was reported to be over one million viewers on Musk and Trump’s platforms with possibly another million on satellite streaming websites such as “The Black Conservative” restreaming on YouTube.

MUSK: So it’s now time to proceed but um as as this uh this massive attack illustrates uh there’s a lot of opposition to people just hearing um what uh president Trump has to say and um so but I’m honored to have this conversation I want to emphasize it’s a, it’s a conversation um and it’s really intended to just get, get a feel for what Donald Trump is just like in a conversation um it’s hard to catch a vibe about someone if you just don’t hear them talk in a normal way and when you know when there when there’s an adversarial interview like no one’s themselves in an adversarial interview um so for and this is really aimed at uh kind of open-minded independent voters who um you I just trying to make up their mind uh and uh so you can understand like what, what, is you know what is it just like to have a conversation so um honor to Donald great great to uh to speak um we had a a great conversation yesterday as you mentioned yesterday if we could just record that conversation and post it, it, would have been excellent and I hope we can have something like that today.

Musk and Trump then went on to discuss the recent assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump at a rally at Butler, Pennsylvania.

Trump was very complimentary of the Secret Service boots on the ground, local law enforcement as well the hospital staff at Butler. He also gave a shout out to the rally attendees at Butler as none of them ran or panicked to create a stampede. He noted this is indicative of the brave Americans who support him.

He mentioned three very interesting aspects to the assassination attempt.

  • The SS sharpshooter to take down Crooks took him out with a single shot from 3 times the distance Crooks was to Trump. He had been in the service for 23 years and never had seen action like that and performed perfectly. The SS agent was 3x the distance from Crooks as Crooks was from Trump.
  • The short little female SS agent who helped cover former President Trump was mentioned by name by Trump as “Kate” and Trump was very complimentary of her. She took a lot of heat on the internet after the assassination as a “DEI hire” because she was female and short. (All those who say Trump is not kind to women should take note.)
  • President Trump said they will be going back to Butler in October and said he will probably start with a joke, “As I was saying before I was so horribly interrupted.”

Trump went on to discuss illegal immigration as the chart he turned his head to view in Butler was a graph on illegal immigration. The chart said the lowest number ever recorded happened during his administration and then skyrocketed after Biden and Harris took office and essentially opened the border.

Musk and Trump both agreed legal immigration is a good thing particularly when discussing people who are coming to work and contribute but Trump mentioned with Biden and Harris we now have illegal immigration consisting of criminals, the mentally ill, terrorists, and people with contagious diseases entering our country.

TRUMP: Immigrants are actually good but you can’t tell a difference unless there’s a solid vetting of who comes across the border.

Trump noted the importance of a border as it related to the invasion and slaughter of innocent Israelis by HAMAS on October 7 of last year.

TRUMP: We have a defective government these are defective people and they’re not people that should be running it but where you see it the best is the Border because you had you have millions of people coming in a month and then she (Harris) gets up and she tries to pretend like she’s going to do something she had three and a half years, and by the way they have another five months that they can do something but they won’t do anything it’s all talk she’s incompetent and he’s incompetent and frankly I think that she’s more incompetent than he is and that’s saying something because he’s not too good yeah no I I think it’s it is essential to have a secure border I mean you’re really not a country unless you’re in a secure border um and, and, secure elections yeah absolutely secure elections.

Trump noted crime is down all over the world because criminals are being sent to the United States intentionally with leaders of other countries telling convicts you are free to go to America but if you come back, you will be executed. Trump said “migrant crime” is now going to extreme heights all over America. Trump mentioned crime is down in countries like Venezuela and The Congo by as much as 70%.

TRUMP: Elon what’s happened is unbelievable, you have from Africa uh from the Congo, they’re coming from the Congo and 22 people came in from the Congo recently and they’re murderers and they dropped, they drop them, they take them out of jails which is very expensive you know to maintain the jails although they don’t do too much maintaining I can tell you but they take them out of jails prisons they take them out and they bring them to the United States they deposit them in the United States and say don’t ever come back or you’re going to be executed.

Trump discussed how he beat Biden in the debate and that led to a coup against Biden where he was taken out of the race by the elites of the Democrat Party. Elon Musk then went on to make a very deep observation about the presidency.

MUSK: I think it’s just worth emphasizing you know to listeners the that the, the, immense importance of, of, whether the United States president is intimidating or not intimidating um and how much that matters to Global Security um because uh there’s some real tough characters out there and if they don’t think the American president is tough they will do what they want to do.

President Trump noted that the weak leadership of Biden and Harris has led to an entire myriad of problems around the globe because they are both viewed as weak and incompetent on the International stage.

Trump mentioned there are 5 countries which now have working nuclear weapons which makes World War III a very real possibility. Because of that Trump wants to build a dome similar to the Iron Dome of Israel to protect our country.

The two men went on to discuss the problem of inflation and Musk offered some truly critical thoughts on the topic.

MUSK: People just don’t, don’t, understand where inflation comes from um inflation comes from government overspending because the checks never bounce when it’s written by the government so if the if, if, the government uh spends far more than it brings in that increases the money supply and if the money supply increases faster than the rate of goods and services that’s inflation um so, so, really we need to have uh we need to reduce our govern spending um and we need to reexamine I think, I think, we need like a government efficiency commission to say like hey where are we spending money that’s sensible where is it not sensible um and, and, we need to live within our, our, means we we we’re currently adding I think a trillion dollars to the deficit uh every roughly every hundred days that’s right um and you know the interest payments on the national debt have now exceed the defense budget it’s on the order of a trillion dollars.

Trump did not disagree with Musk but noted he would bring inflation down very fast in his second term of office with his motto of “drill baby, drill” as he believes Biden and Harris triggered the inflation by curtailing petrol energy production in the United States.

Both of them are probably right.

CONCLUSION:

One of the most meaningful exchanges between these two men was when Musk noted the need for a new Government Efficiency Commission to eliminate waste from government spending.

Trump noted how he had renegotiated the price of two new Air Force One Boeing 747 jets when he was in office Barack Obama had originally contracted and now Joe Biden is allowing the price of the two planes to go back up due to “cost overruns” blowing Trump’s “Art of the Deal”.

Trump said he would welcome Musk on board heading up a new Government Efficiency Commission.
