Trump Harris debate exposes her lies and lack of authenticity

The most important takeaway from Tuesday night’s debate in Philadelphia, PA between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris is that this is still a tight race.

The second most important takeaway is that Trump missed a lot of opportunities to expose Harris for the fake that she is.

Harris lied her way through the debate, attempting to pin Project 2025 on Trump, a government plan which he has no connection to. She tried to blame him for the fallout from the Covid-19 pandemic when we all know it came from China and hit every country.

Harris performed a lot better than she usually does. She was able to piece together sentences in a way she has not been able to do in prior interviews or appearances when she mostly cackled or delivered a discombobulated response.

Trump did a great job appearing presidential, while Harris came across as a whiny teenager.

When talking about the economy and immigration, Trump attacked Harris saying, “She has destroyed our country with policy that’s insane. Almost policy that you’d have to say, ‘they hate our country.’”

The moderators, David Muir and Linsey Davis, were seen by Republicans as going soft on Harris and attacking Trump. Numerous conservative commentators said the moderators were blatantly pro-Harris and biased. They never pushed back on any of Harris’s smears and lies such as when she attacked Trump on the abortion issue. Trump criticized them after the debate, saying that he believed they were unfair and that “it was obviously three-on-one.”

Harris was clearly mentored to talk about her softer side and her background, and she referred to her past several times. She was also clearly instructed to look at Trump when he spoke and make faces, mocking him throughout his remarks, knowing viewers would see a split screen debate.

Trump should have taken the opportunity to attack Harris and the rest of the Biden administration on their poor policies, the economy, and immigration. Those are the main issues and Trump should have stuck to the issues that matter most to average Americans.

He allowed himself to be led astray and he talked too much about the cats and dogs supposedly being eaten by migrants. It made him sound crazy and he should have avoided that.

Aside from that though, Trump repeated far less untruths than Harris did. Democrats and their supporters are hooting that Harris won the debate in a smashing success. The reality is less clear. It’s easy to do well when you lie about the issues and avoid telling the truth.

Harris simply repeated rehearsed talking points and dodged questions about her own record. She relied on platitudes avoided any real substance.

The moderators did ask Harris about her policy changes and she lied about it. Her big line is that her values haven’t changed. That means she is avoiding the question because the questions is about policies not values.

This is revealing.

Harris is basically admitting to flip-flopping on policies as a way to get into the White House, but as soon as she becomes president – if the becomes president – she will switch her policies back to align with her Marxist, extreme left progressive values.

So when she said “My values haven’t changed,” we need to take her seriously.

Democrats went low, turning the debate into a high school fight. She spent a lot of time mocking Trump, his rallies, his trials, and lying about his record. Her mocking tone and childish faces are frightening – a sign of what is to come if she becomes president.

Get ready for even more migrants pouring across the southern border. Be prepared for a nationwide defunding of the police and a massive rise in crime. A few Democrat-led cities that are falling apart due to leftist policies are nothing compared to what will happen if Harris wins the election. The entire nation will be crime-ridden and will fall apart.

As Trump said, “She is destroying this country. If she becomes president, this country doesn’t have a chance of success.”
