Biden’s Executive Order on “Promoting Access” to Voting

The Biden Administration continues the fallacy that black voters are not as capable as white voters and must be coddled. Democrats have the false belief that black Americans do not carry I.D. and are therefore burdened by voter I.D. laws. They also have the false idea that black Americans cannot read campaign literature or determine the candidate they wish to vote for and that black Americans cannot find a polling place or are unable to determine how to register to vote. The Democrats also treat Native Americans as if they are sub class citizens.

The Democrats have historically discriminated against black Americans, women voters and others in America, and continue to do so by behaving as though white Americans are superior to black Americans or any other American.

Free and fair elections are the main stay of a constitutional democratic republic like America, and it is important to educate people on their responsibility to vote and to make sure every legal vote counts. It is also important that people are not pressured or threatened to vote in a certain manner, based on those who are giving them access to the vote. It is also important that only American citizens vote to determine the path that America, their country, takes. Voter integrity must be protected if voting is to be taken seriously.

Registering every legal voter is very important and anything we can do legally, based on the rule of law in each state, to help legal voters register and vote is the goal. However controlling registration for one party, ballot harvesting, threatening or doxing voters or paying voters for their vote is not going to allow for free and fair elections.

We have seen, based on the Democrats H.R. 1 bill, that free and fair elections is not what Democrats are working toward. They wish to gain federal control over congressional elections even though the constitution gives primary authority to the states. Breitbart recently put together a list using information from a Tweet by Oilfield_Rando about H.R. 1. Here are just a few of the items in the list and a link to the article which everyone should read.

The Democrats H.R. 1 declares that photo ID is โ€œburdensomeโ€ and that voter registration procedures, purges of ineligible voters, restrictions on vote-by-mail, rules against felons voting, and other measures that states and municipalities have taken to guarantee the integrity of elections are, in fact, โ€œrestrictions on theย right to vote.โ€ It also suggests these are forms of โ€œracial discriminationโ€ and โ€œsystemic racism.โ€ They have made it very difficult to fight for constitution rights in court by restricting challenges to the federal court system in Washington D.C., a notoriously Democrat-friendly jurisdiction. That minimizes the chances that any challenges could be brought to more conservatives courts, or to judges appointed by past Republican presidents and who believe in free and fair elections. H.R. 1 also give protections to illegal aliens who are registered to vote, which is illegal.

37 Things to Know About H.R. 1, โ€˜For the People Actโ€™

Voting is a privilege that can be lost when an individual is convicted of a felony but can be restored based on the laws of individual states. Biden’s executive action increases voting and voter registration access for criminals in prison and on probation.

According to the Fact Sheet put out by the Biden White House, โ€œThe order will direct the Attorney General to establish procedures to provide educational materials related to voter registration and voting, and to the extent practicable, to facilitate voter registration, for all eligible individuals in the custody of the Federal Bureau of Prisons.โ€

Also, the executive order will direct the head of each federal agency to submit to the Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy a strategic plan outlining ways their agency can promote voter registration and participation within 200 days. These strategic plans could include actions such as distributing voter registration and vote-by-mail ballot applications in the course of regular services.

The executive also directs agencies, if requested by a State, to be designatedย as a voter registration agency pursuant to the National Voter Registration Act and says that if an agency declines to consent to such designation, the head of the agencyย will need to submit to the President a written explanation forย the decision.

This executive order also directs for the modernization of the Vote.gov website, updating the siteโ€™s accessibility and offering a better user experience.

Biden is also ordering the โ€œdirector of the Office of Personnel Management to work with the head of federal agencies to provide recommendations to the president regarding leave for federal employees to vote or to volunteer as nonpartisan poll workers, ensuring that the federal government serves as a model to other employers.โ€

The order further directs the federal government to analyze what barriers to voting people with disabilities have and to โ€œincrease voting access for active-duty military and other overseas votersโ€ and to โ€œestablish a Native American voting rights steering group.โ€

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, itย isย hereby ordered as follows:

Section 1. ย Purpose.

The right to vote is the foundation of American democracy. ย Free and fair elections that reflect the will of the American people must be protected and defended. But many Americans, especially people of color, confront significant obstacles to exercising that fundamental right. These obstacles include difficulties with voter registration, lack of election information, and barriers to access at polling places. ย For generations, Black voters and other voters of color have facedย discriminatory policies and other obstacles that disproportionally affect their communities. ย These voters remainย more likely to face long lines at the polls and are disproportionately burdened by voter identification laws and limited opportunities to vote by mail. ย Limited access to language assistance remains a barrier for many voters. People with disabilities continue to face barriers to voting and are denied legally required accommodations in exercising their fundamental rights and the ability to vote privately and independently.ย  Members of our military serving overseas, asย well as other American citizens living abroad, also face challenges to exercising their fundamental right to vote.
