Over 150 Retired Flag Officers Label Political Actions “Threat to U.S. National Security

5Mind. The Meme Platform

Retired generals and admirals (Flag Officers) normally do not engage in political actions, but over 150 retired Flag Officers have signed an open letter based on their oath to support and defend the constitution of the US against all enemies, foreign and domestic. The letter states our nation is in deep peril, more so than at any other time since our Country was founded in 1776. They state our Constitutional Republic is under tremendous assault coming from those believing in Socialism and Marxism which is the opposite of the freedoms, liberty, and Bill of Rights that form the basis of our Constitution and our traditional values.

The purpose of the open letter is to ask citizens to look carefully at what is happening to our Nation and to take swift action, getting involved at the local, state, and national levels to elect and hold accountable political representatives who will act to Save America and our Constitutional Republic.

The open letter identifies China as the greatest external threat to our Nation. The greatest domestic threat to our survival as a Constitutional Republic is identified as the Socialist and Marxist ideologies underlying the current administration’s policies. These threats include an open border; a compromised election process lacking verification of voters to ensure one vote per citizen; executive orders and mandates bypassing the legislative process. The “rule of law” is non- existent in many cities, anarchy encouraged and law enforcement diminished. Freedom of speech is under assault by censorship and distortion; tyrannical intimidation tactics silence differing views. Race and gender are being used politically to divide us into warring factions.

The flag officers state that election integrity requires government IDs and verified signatures. “Today, many are calling such commonsense controls “racist” in an attempt to avoid having fair and honest elections.”

The current Administration’s open borders policy “jeopardizes national security…We must reestablish border controls and continue building the wall while supporting our dedicated border control personnel. Sovereign nations must have controlled borders.”

The flag officers object to “using the U.S. military as political pawns with thousands of troops deployed around the U.S. Capitol Building… guarding against a non-existent threat.”

They warn that politically correct policies like the divisive critical race theory “harms military cohesion, degrades our readiness to fight and is creating a major national security issue.” They urge all citizens to work with local officials to ensure the rights of all citizens are protected and that the education of our youth emphasizes our historic values and Constitutional principles.
