Conspiracy theorists claim nurse who fainted after COVID shot is dead

Tiffany Dover gets COVID-19 Vaccine

The Tennessee nurse who famously fainted on camera after getting her COVID-19 vaccine in December is not dead — but try telling that to legions of doubters on social media.

Condolences have poured in from around the world mourning the passing of 30-year-old mother of two Tiffany Dover — even though she is alive and well, a fact that her family and Chattanooga hospital have publicly repeated, although not with a lot of luck.

The culprit behind the persistent misinformation campaign appears to be anti-vaxxers and conspiracy theorists in general.

“I’m honestly disgusted with people right now,’’ Dover’s sister-in-law recently wrote on Instagram, according to the Daily Beast. “TIFFANY IS ALIVE AND FINE.’’

But that hasn’t stop some non-believers from musing that photos showing Dover’s hair part in different places might somehow prove she’s dead.

One doubter even started up a Facebook page titled, “Where is Tiffany Dover?’’ It currently has 5,400 members.

“This group is simply to get confirmation that Tiffany Dover is safe. All we ask is for concrete proof that she is alive and well,” the page says.

Dover fainted on camera in mid-December after getting a Pfizer shot in her arm as part of a pro-COVID-19 immunization effort by CHI Memorial Hospital.
