The Tennessee nurse who famously fainted on camera after getting her COVID-19 vaccine in December is not dead ā but try telling that to legions of doubters on social media.
Condolences have poured in from around the world mourning the passing of 30-year-old mother of two Tiffany Dover ā even though she is alive and well, a fact that her family and Chattanooga hospital have publicly repeated, although not with a lot of luck.
The culprit behind the persistent misinformation campaign appears to be anti-vaxxers and conspiracy theorists in general.
āIām honestly disgusted with people right now,āā Doverās sister-in-law recently wrote on Instagram, according to the Daily Beast. āTIFFANY IS ALIVE AND FINE.āā
But that hasnāt stop some non-believers from musing that photos showing Doverās hair part in different places might somehow prove sheās dead.
One doubter even started up a Facebook page titled, āWhere is Tiffany Dover?āā It currently has 5,400 members.
āThis group is simply to get confirmation that Tiffany Dover is safe. All we ask is for concrete proof that she is alive and well,ā the page says.
Dover fainted on camera in mid-December after getting a Pfizer shot in her arm as part of a pro-COVID-19 immunization effort by CHI Memorial Hospital.
