Pattern of Evidence: Exodus (2014)

What is the validity of history found in the Bible? Is it fact or fiction? What does the hard evidence really have to say about the foundational story of the Old Testament: the Exodus out of Egypt? An in-depth investigation by documentary filmmaker Tim Mahoney searches for answers to these questions amid startling new finds that may change traditional views of history and the Bible.

Patterns of Evidence: The Moses Controversy (2019)

Is the Bible the inspired word of God? Or is it a book of fables and myths?

Award-winning investigative filmmaker Timothy Mahoney and his Patterns of Evidence team return with a brand-new examination into The Moses Controversy.

Mahoney was raised to believe the stories of the Bible were true. But mainstream scholars believe the Bibleโ€™s claim that Moses wrote the Exodus journey as an eyewitness account is an exaggerated tale. These scholars emphatically declare Moses didnโ€™t even have a writing system like Hebrew to record it; instead, the writing of Exodus came more than one thousand years after the fact.

Since the Bible claims that Moses was the author of one of the greatest stories in the entire Bibleโ€”the Israelitesโ€™ Exodus out of Egypt and their journey to Mt Sinai where Moses received the Ten Commandments from Godโ€”Mahoney realizes that the question of Mosesโ€™ ability to write its first books impacts the credibility of the entire Bible.

Traveling throughout the Middle East to see where the patterns lead, Mahoney uncovers profound new scientific evidence you have to see to believe! The new documentary investigation “Patterns of Evidence: The Moses Controversy” will be in theaters for three days only: March 14, 16, and 19.

Patterns of Evidence: The Red Sea Miracle 1 (2020)

Discover the evidence behind one of the Bible’s greatest miracles.

Itโ€™s one of the greatest miracles in the Bible; Moses and the Israelites trapped at the sea by Pharaohโ€™s army when God miraculously parts the waters, rescuing the Israelites and destroying Pharaoh and his chariots. But is there any evidence that it really happened and if so, where?

Thatโ€™s what investigative filmmaker Timothy Mahoney set out to discover 18 years ago and now he is ready to share whatโ€™s been uncovered; a controversy between two dramatically different approaches in reading the biblical text. One approach is Egyptian, the other is Hebrew. Both will lead to two very different conclusions on the location of the Exodus crossing site and the cause of the miraculous parting of the sea.

What do these different approaches tell us about miracles โ€“ and what do they tell us about God? This Bible-affirming investigation is so large that two films were required.

This two-part series includes the latest and most-anticipated films in Tim Mahoneyโ€™s investigative series, Patterns of Evidence. In the Red Sea Miracle parts I, Tim journeys to find the location of the Red Sea crossing, retracing the steps of Moses and the Israelites. In part II, Tim continue to raise big questions about biblical miracles and whether or not miracles still exist in the World today.

Patterns of Evidence: The Red Sea Miracle 2 (2020)

THE RED SEA MIRACLE II continues to raise big questions about biblical miracles. Introducing the second film in a new two-part series by Patterns of Evidence’s award-winning filmmaker, Timothy Mahoney. How could thousands of feet of water be parted at the Red Sea? Or was the sea merely parted by the act of wind in nature, through a shallow Egyptian lake? Mahoney investigates these locations to see if any have a pattern of evidence matching the Bible. People of faith will be inspired and skeptics will have much to think about as Mahoney reveals two decades of documentary research including if divers found the remains of Pharaoh’s army on the seafloor. This cinematic journey leads him to inquire – “Do miracles still happen today?”
