Many who worry about election integrity issues in America tend to focus on specific events documented that will show such potential evidence – see more here.
These may include voting machines, mail-in voting processes, ballot harvesting, and ballot change of custody issues, to name a few. But there is actually a more serious one that gets little attention. It is the role of mainstream media, social media, and “big” tech companies that shape the voters’ minds on who to vote for. There are many clever ways this can happen.
MRC Free Speech America has analyzed Google, Bing, and DuckDuckGo search results for the 12 Senate races identified by RealClearPolitics as the most important to watch.
Researchers caught Google burying 10 of 12 Senate Republican Party candidates’ campaign websites while highlighting their opponent’s campaign sites in organic search results. This stands in stark contrast to Bing and DuckDuckGo whose search results treated Republican and Democrat campaign websites more neutrally than Google. See this in the inset infographic and learn more here.
Google buried Senate Republican Party candidates’ campaign websites. Ten of 12 Senate Republican Party candidates’ campaign websites (83%) appeared far lower (or did not appear at all) on page one of Google’s organic search results compared to their Senate Democratic Party opponents’ campaign websites.
Google completely hid seven of 12 Senate Republican Party candidates’ campaign websites in page one organic search results. Seven of 12 Senate Republican Party candidates’ campaign websites did not appear on page one using Google’s organic search. Meanwhile, eight of 12 Senate Democratic Party candidate campaign websites were highlighted in the top six items in organic search results.
Google’s search result bias is undeniable when compared to Bing and DuckDuckGo. With the exception of two candidates, both Bing and DuckDuckGo showed both the Senate Democratic Party candidates’ campaign websites and the Senate Republican Party candidates’ campaign websites in the top five organic search results on page one.
Google’s long pattern of anti-Democracy election interference is well documented. The most recent example of Google’s bias was exposed in a study put out by North Carolina State University that showed that Gmail was suppressing Republican Party emails.
The North Carolina State University study found that Google’s Gmail marked 59.3% more emails from “right”-leaning candidates as spam compared to “left”-leaning candidates.
It is not just Google. It is the entire mainstream media complex. As an example, mainstream media overwhelmingly focused on the recent Martha’s Vineyard immigration issues of 50 illegal immigrants while largely ignoring the real stories of millions of illegal immigrants pouring over on the southern border. Mainstream media shapes the political narrative by what it chooses to show the public.

To determine the actual percentage that media and “big” tech manipulation have on elections would be hard to determine – few analysts will give a hard number, even if one could. Here are a couple of articles on its potential influence here and here. A reasonable guess is that media and “big” tech manipulation is the far more important election integrity issue.
As suggested in the video above, the legality of what these actors are doing is questionable. Unfortunately, don’t look for an unbiased Democrat DoJ to investigate. After all, they benefit from these activities. The current Democrat DoJ is too busy chasing their political foes over shame charges and letting real criminals often go free.
