Ray Epps’ civil complaint against Fox News reveals Epps is being criminally charged by the DOJ years after the fact.

Years after the U.S. Capitol breach, which took place on January 6, 2021 in Washington, D.C., the infamous Ray Epps, who was caught on video urging protestors to “go into the Capitol,” revealed in a defamation lawsuit against Fox News, that he is “about” to be charged by the Department of Justice (DOJ) for his actions on that day. Epps is blaming Fox News and Tucker Carlson for the criminal charges brought against him. Epps has been a big problem for the FBI and the DOJ because of the video evidence and the fact that he was not arrested. The Democrat-led House Select Committee to Investigate Jan. 6 gave Ray Epps a pass, saying there is nothing to “see there”. So why all of a sudden is the civil complaint talking about Epps pending arrest?

Epps attorney, Michael Teter, stated in the complaint:

94. Finally, in May 2023, the Department of Justice notified Epps that it would seek to charge him criminally for events on January 6, 2021—two-and-a-half years later. The relentless attacks by Fox and Mr. Carlson and the resulting political pressure likely resulted in the criminal charges.

95. Although it is difficult to believe that the Department of Justice would have pursued this matter if Fox had not focused its lies on Epps, ultimately the criminal charges conclusively demonstrate the falsehood of the story that Mr. Carlson and Fox told about Epps.

Could it be a plot to take down Fox, Tucker Carlson, and most likely, Darren Beattie of Revolver.News who broke a Ray Epps story way back in October of 2021.

The questions being asked on social media about this sudden change of heart by the DOJ show there is little trust in the Biden administration or in the DOJ in this matter.
