The Beijing Winter Olympics start in February, just a few days after the Spring Festival, when hundreds of millions of Chinese will be traveling to celebrate the traditional holiday. This all comes about as China has major cities and ports in total lockdown because of COVID outbreaks, and it has now been confirmed that Omicron has appeared in Beijing. If the Olympics go forward as scheduled, you can expect a massive super spreader event.
