If you look at the 20 congressmen who voted no for Jim Jordan, you’ll see a trend of appropriators, defense hawks, and members in Biden-won districts. This is the defense and bureaucratic industrial complexes combined with members who desperately need K Street lobbyist money.
Five are on the Armed Services committee: Don Bacon, Carlos Gimenez, Jen Kiggans, and Nick LaLota and 7 are appropriators: Kay Granger (chair), Mike Simpson (cardinal), Mario Diaz-Balart (cardinal), Steve Womack (cardinal), John Rutherford, Tony Gonzales, Jake Ellzey
And the remainder are in tight districts who need campaign money from K Street. It’s time to unify the Republican Party, and it starts with your phone call.
