Democrat strategist James Carville (“The Cajun Who Can’t Stop Ragin’”) recently spoke out about liberal women Democrats of his party being “preachy females”. On the surface it might have seemed like a sexist comment from a 79 year old dude of the left. But then a very public liberal Democrat female seemingly stepped up to make his point for him. Ironic and hilarious!

Carville began with an opening of, “A suspicion of mine is that there are too many preachy females …”.
But then he went on to make his point:
Carville said, “If you listen to Democratic elites — NPR is my go-to place for that — the whole talk is about how women, and women of color, are going to decide this election. I’m like: ‘Well, 48 percent of the people that vote are males. Do you mind if they have some consideration?”
So this week we had former ABC/CBS/NBC news reader, Katie Couric, appear on the Bill Maher’s “Club Random” podcast where she got preachy with him:
Couric took a swipe at Trump supporters reminiscent of Hillary Clinton’s “basket of deplorables” comment of 2016 when she said, “The socio-economic disparities are a lot and class resentment is a lot and anti-intellectualism and elitism is what is driving many of these anti-establishment [people] — which are Trump voters — so, I think that is a huge problem that we have to address,” Couric told Maher, referring to the Trump MAGA movement. Her comment comes at the 1 hour and 23 minute mark of this video:

Trump supporters (both male and female) took to social media platforms instantly to royally flame her. Some of my personal favorites were:
“Congrats Katie Couric you’ve hit Hildabeast status” (Hillary Clinton reference.)
“Never forget that Katie Couric suggested that opponents of the authoritarian Regime should be ‘deprogrammed.’”
“Remember when @katiecouric worked with Matt Lauer and covered up years of sexual harassment of women staffers because she liked her 8-figure salary and wanted a Hamptons compound?”
“I want to ‘thank’ the main stream that cancelled you a long time ago @katiecouric”
“Katie Couric is the poster bitch for the 10% of elites in the US who think MAGA are Bible-thumping, gun-toting, Costco-shopping rednecks. Katie has a bachelor’s degree in journalism. I have an MBA. I’m MAGA. I think for myself. Let’s talk about ‘anti-intellectualism’@billmaher, let’s have this chat @katiecouric”
CONCLUSION:
My two favorite things living my earthly life are thinking and laughing. Indeed, they say people with a sense of humor have higher intellect, Katie.
A friend recently pointed out to me how he observed how angry liberals of the left seem. They seldom laugh at anything and never see the class half-full as optimists. I pointed out to him how I have perceived how liberals are hypocritical liars to further their agenda and their agenda is all about power and money.
I gave the example of CNN reporting the news showing a city burning behind them in 2020 as a “mostly peaceful protest” while the Capitol protest of 2021 was labeled an “insurrection”. The math never lies and the fact of the matter is the BLM riots around the nation cost billions where the Capitol riot cost millions. More people died (25) and were physically assaulted during the BLM riots than the Capitol riot (4).

I have read reports, surveys, and stories about liberals of the left over many years and I am fascinated by them. It is not that I am full of hate for those on the left so much as I am naturally curious and wonder how many of these are actually true. I wish there was a university clearinghouse for this information and it was proven scholarly research. Knowing the truth matters!
Here are some of the findings that fascinate me:
- Most mass shooters are registered Democrats of the left.
- Most politicians who get taken down by the law are Democrats of the left.
- Most people incarcerated in prisons and jails are Democrats.
- Democrats are less charitable than Republicans with their own money.
- Republicans attend weekly worship services more than Democrats do.
- Liberalism is a mental disorder.
- The goal of Democrats is government dependence leading to socialism and communism.
- To make a liberal angry, tell them the truth.
- To make a conservative angry, tell them a lie.
- Liberals resort to name calling and attacking their opponents rather than defend their own position.
As a recognized intellectual I will offer both Maher and Couric some knowledge learned over the years. A casual observation of the 1 hour and 40 minutes you spent more time talking about:
- Yourselves
- Donald Trump bad
- Porn, perversion, and sex
Things that you should have talked about as intellectuals would are:
- Others such as your families
- Joe Biden good
- Signs of the downfall of society (porn, perversion, and sex)
The fact of the matter is you cannot talk about Joe Biden as good because he is an epic failure. Instead you talk about Donald Trump incessantly to the point of appearing to suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS). I now believe the American Psychiatric Association (APA) should really classify TDS as a mental disorder. My reason for saying this is when you ask somebody who suffers from TDS what it is that Donald Trump has done wrong, they offer no coherent answer and often resort to a proven lie.
One of my favorite Trump lies is, “Well he slept with Stormy Daniels while Melania was pregnant with Barron!”
To which I respond, “Actually, that is a proven lie as Daniels has admitted she never slept with him, got sued by Trump where he won and now owes him several hundred thousand dollars. Go Google it.”
That is followed by the sound of crickets and a very unintellectual look.
