THE VILLAGES, Fla.—A leading physician at the largest retirement community in the United States is seeing an “alarming increase” in COVID-19 vaccine injuries among her patients.

At a Jan. 26 press conference, held at the Waterfront Inn at Sumter Landing in The Villages, Florida, Dr. Marivic Villa reported that the vaccine injuries are especially prevalent in patients over the age of 64.

“A vaccine injury is a normal response of your immune system,” she told the crowd at the press conference. “Usually, the immune system will protect you. But it’s attacking you.”

The most common complication she’s seeing is a neurological disorder where “the spinal cord is being attacked.”

To support her assessment that elder vaccine injuries are on the rise, she presented data gathered on residents of The Villages.

Out of 10,098 patients, 5,861 are over the age of 64. Of those, 5,568, or 95 percent, have received at least one dose of the COVID-19, and 51 percent of vaccinated patients received four or five doses.

Among the vaccinated, 1,258 patients (22.6 percent) are presenting with one or more new diseases, including immune deficiency (41.4 percent), autoimmune disorders (38.2 percent), and immunodeficiency disorders (20.4 percent). Many are also suffering from a reactivation of dormant infections from their past, such as Epstein-Barr Virus (40 percent), herpes (19 percent), and Lyme disease (31 percent).

Dr. Villa is also seeing an increase in cases of cardiovascular diseases, such as coronary artery disease, atrial fibrillation, hypertension, stroke, and transient ischemic attack. There is also a rise in the number of hematologic and oncologic diagnoses such as blood clots, cancer, and anemia.

From May 2022 to May 2023, 1,258 patients presented with “significant vaccine injury.” Considering patients presenting from May 2022 to January 2024, the number jumps to 1,942.

‘It Just Keeps on Giving’

Before the press conference began, Lynette Milakovich shared her story with The Epoch Times.

Ms. Milakovich, a resident of The Villages, was a court reporter in California for 40 years. She was a healthy and physically active yoga instructor until she received her second Pfizer vaccine on March 31, 2021. Within a week, she said, she developed nerve issues, tinnitus, tremors, and convulsions. She lost 20 pounds in two months and was diagnosed with brain injury in her frontal lobe, which also went into the basal ganglia of the brain.
