The evening of September 19, 2024, Thursday, Oprah Winfrey took on a task of organizing a rally for Kamala Harris. The event was supposed to look like a big deal with 400 people in the audience, a few hundred watching via Zoom shown on screens behind the live audience, and thousands more watching as it streamed live via Internet.

Winfrey announced there were Cat Ladies for Kamala, Rural Americans for Harris, Caregivers for Kamala, Train Lovers for Harris/Walz, Chefs for Kamala, Republicans for Harris, and Swifties for Kamala.
She then went on to introduce, via Zoom, celebrates Bryan Cranston, Chris Rock, Ben Stiller, Tracee Ellis Ross, Jennifer Lopez, Julia Roberts, and Meryl Streep.
They all talked about joy and optimism in a cringe worthy display unworthy of any acting awards. Chris Rock probably exposed the intent the best, “I want to bring my daughters to the White House to meet this black woman president.”
Ben Stiller was said to be there to represent Comics for Kamala and said he was excited to see the campaign was pivoting from a “Stop Trump mode into a Go Kamala mode and for people to really hear what she is about.”
You could tell this event with Oprah and Harris was not just moderated but, just like the ABC Presidential Debate of several weeks ago, was also heavily scripted. One such topic that came up was the Second Amendment and gun ownership.
Oprah began this contrived conversation like this:
“So another important issue of this election is of course our safety and just two weeks ago our country experienced yet another horrific school shooting watch this.”
Oprah then cut to a prerecorded video clip that offered a recap of recent school shootings. In that video she brought up the figure of 383,000 children have been exposed to gun violence some 3 times.
Oprah concluded on her soapbox, “This is not normal and this is not right. Other people in other countries do not have this issue. We Americans, we have to do better, we have to do better, we cannot continue to just settle for your, ‘our thoughts and prayers’. Lives are being destroyed.”
This was the start of a scripted narrative by Oprah to build a foundation for more gun controls.

Harris responded she was in favor of the Second Amendment, which gives US citizens the right to bear arms, but she also in favors banning assault weapons and conducting universal background checks in order to stem gun violence in the US.
She then pretended to go off script to not expose herself as they lefty she has been in the past.
“I am a gun owner too. If somebody breaks into my house, they’re getting shot,” Harris joked. “I probably should not have said that.” (Followed by Kamala cackle.)
This little charade is not likely to win over any of the estimated 72 million Americans who own an estimated 393 million guns with over a trillion rounds of ammunition. They will always remember this clip of Harris.

Contrast what Kamala Harris just said about herself owning guns (which may or may not be true) to what she said after the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict came down in Racine, Wisconsin, in 2021 after he shot several rioters in self-defense.
“The verdict really speaks for itself. As many of you know I’ve spent a majority of my career working to make the criminal justice system more equitable and clearly there’s a lot more work to do. Thanks.”
CONCLUSION:
So what we are seeing exposed here is a mixed-race woman who identifies as black (when it works for her) in 2020 donated and raised money to bail out mostly black rioters just 360 miles west of Racine in Tim Walz’ Minneapolis for crimes of rape, robbery, vandalism, and arson.
But now, this same woman, apparently, has a problem with a white boy from Illinois defending himself during a riot in Racine, Wisconsin. Got it!
Hypocrite much?
Does this make Kamala Harris a racist?
You can tell a lot about politics in America these days by Internet view counts. They seem to be more honest and accurate than the polls put up by the fake news media.
The Oprah video above as of Saturday morning was 1,776,731 with 540 thousand subscribers. Her event was made to look like a big deal similar to a Bachelor/Bachelorette theater in-the-round studio finale. The Associated Press reported the Winfrey-Harris livestream on YouTube had around 300,000 viewers during that event.

Contrast that with the Donald Trump appearance the night before on the Greg Gutfeld comedy show of Fox News. That video on YouTube Saturday morning showed 2,682,286 views with 11.9 million subscribers. The Fox Gutfeld studio had less glitz than the Oprah event with less than 200 in the studio audience.

That Trump appearance averaged 4.9 million total viewers with 744,000 in the advertiser-coveted demographic of adults aged 25-54 and this was the largest audience “Gutfeld!” has drawn since it launched in 2021.

As a retired educator of 40 years, if any politicians want to get serious about school shootings, this is what you do to stop them:
- Do not release the names or likenesses of school shooters, ever.
- Deputize classroom teachers who want to as Federal School Marshals.
- Deputize and employ military veterans as Federal School Marshals.
- Install lockdown doors and hardware to isolate shooters.
- Install school video surveillance systems.
- Identify the root cause of these incidents.
- Determine how many of these incidents might be related to psychotropic medications.
And again, for the leftys who wish to attack me on this… I remember when we had an epidemic of Cuban hijackings of commercial jet liners from 1968 to 1972. You know how we stopped them? Armed plain clothed Federal Air Marshals!
And two final thoughts on Kamala Harris and guns:

I wish I could have been in Oprah’s studio audience to ask Kamala Harris a follow-up question, “Exactly what make and model of gun do you own?”
