Those awake in high school history may recall a lesson that the greatest empires throughout history have a tendency to collapse after a reign of about 250 years. America will turn 250 years old in 2026. Many experts agree these collapses are not instantaneous as they come on slowly and with many warning signs beforehand. It is interesting to look at all the “experts” who are predicting the demise of America and see what precursors they offer. The number of precursors always varies with these experts which I find most interesting as they can vary from only a few to many.
In an article in The Hill early this year they offered, “Five reasons American decline appears irreversible”. The reasons they list are:
- Uncontrollable U.S. Debt
- Low Student Achievement
- Increasing income and wealth inequality
- Loss of American identity and patriotism
- Widespread belief that our political system is broken
Lack of money or something else of value to exchange for necessities (food, shelter, energy, etc.) does seem to be a common precursor to the collapse of society to many. Recession and depression are two terms often that come up in such discussions these days.

- Debt rising verses savings decreasing.
- Loan and credit delinquencies rising.
- Debt to income ratio rising to 40%.
Some argue about politics as a sign of end times. For example in his book “END TIMES: ELITES, COUNTER-ELITES, AND THE PATH OF POLITICAL DISINTEGRATION” Peter Turchin, argues: “When the equilibrium between ruling elites and the majority tips too far in favor of elites, political instability is all but inevitable.”
In the video below supposed scholar Sheldon Solomon explains Turchin’s book using Republicans Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley, Ron DeSantis, and John Kennedy as examples of “elites” offering their college educations as proof. Then, this same New York Skidmore College social psychologist, goes on to talk about “wealth inequality” using Walmart as an example hiring mostly part-time employees to avoid paying benefits or allowing them to unionize. Where scholars like Solomon laughably show their liberal bias is the Walton family, owners of Walmart, are the richest family in America worth some 267 billion according to Forbes. And, guess what? They are voting Democrats!
“Scientist Predicts Society will COLLAPSE by 2025 (w/ Evidence) | Sheldon Solomon” – Danny Jones Clips
Where Turchin may have a valid point is when too few elites hold too much wealth over too many in the multitudes, trouble is brewing. But Solomon did a poor job to support Turchin’s hypothesis.

What is interesting about this debate is how liberals and conservatives frame this issue. Liberals will inject issues such as climate change and Palestinian genocide which are totally irrelevant and only serve to politicize the discussion and eliminate their credibility. They will compare the fall of Rome to America today.

But what they won’t do is note that the Roman baths at Sliema, Malta are still at exactly the same water level above sea level as they were back in 1600 when they were built. Likewise they fail to note that the Palestinians of Gaza refuse to acknowledge the Jews of Israel right to exist. Torture for amusement is unacceptable. Look at the Romans feeding the Christians to the lions. Then look at the rape and torture of the Jews by Hamas on October 7, 2023. It is safe to say, Gaza has collapsed as a society now just as Rome did years back then.
Another interesting aspect to this debate is whether these collapses occur slowly or rapidly. This ACT.TV presentation holds it happens rapidly but then they also add climate change to their narrative so…
“How Civilizations Collapse” – ACT.TV
- Resources
- Climate
- Allies
- Enemies
- Culture
About the only way climate is a legitimate factor is when factors like droughts and famine, earthquakes, volcanoes, storms, and wildfires come into play. But, those who made the video above talk about “rising ocean waters caused by manmade climate change”. Again, go back to the Roman baths at Sliema, Malta mentioned before and get back to us on that one.
CONCLUSION:
There are a number of factors the experts do NOT address in their presentations on the causes of the collapse of a society and they are a matter of historical record.
For example; History has shown us a correlation to “corporate sin” when the teachings of the Bible and religious faith are neglected or, when bad people outnumber the good.
“Is America Headed Toward Leviticus 26? | Episode #1215 | Perry Stone”
Leviticus Chapter 26 relates to the general enforcement of all the laws of Moses. This part of the Bible promises reward for obedience and punishment for disobedience. I once had a history teacher mention that every major society that came to greatness and then accepted sexual deviancy perished soon thereafter.
Related to this is the story of “The Snake” President Donald Trump so often references in his rallies. The point of this story is it is nice to be a loving and good person but don’t be a sap!
“Trump reads “The Snake” poem” – CBS News
When President Trump reads these lyrics from the Al Wilson 1968 R&B song “The Snake” I always go back to thinking of the experiment of “The Frog” for some odd reason. A 1872 German experiment by Albert Heinzmann supposedly showed a normal frog would not attempt to escape a pot of water if it was heated slowly enough to the point of death. That experiment was later said to be corroborated in 1875 by Carl Fratscher. What is most funny, to me, is there are scientists who say this is not true while other scientists use it as an analogy to support “global warming”! Go figure.
A final area experts never address is the Cloward-Piven Strategy put into practice to intentionally destroy a culture using giveaways to cause “takers” to outnumber “makers”. This happens when too many people come to live off of a socialist government without enough capitalists paying in taxes to support that government.
I would like the Democrats around this nation to explain to me why they, and the NGO’s working in collaboration with them, are not guilty of aiding and abetting illegal aliens in crimes every time they offer them a free anything. And if they are using taxpayer dollars, well that amounts to treason!
I pray we Americans are not the frogs in Lukewarm water now. It seems like the temperature has been rising ever since the 2020 General election.
