Mystery Fog Update!

In a previous article of several days ago we promised to update the story on the “Mystery Fog” if we learned anything new, we have.

“Mystery Fog is Making People Sick” – The Thinking Conservative

What we have learned (we think) is the State of Florida has now issued a Public Service Announcement (PSA) advising people to stay inside to avoid breathing the air of the mystery fog when it contains particulate matter.

The YouTube news feed content channel MindSeed TV seemingly came upon a news article in the Country Herald of Central Illinois announcing an air quality warning for residents of Florida.

“URGENT PSA Fog Health Hazard – Dangerous PM2 5 Levels Are Skyrocketing! Protect Yourself Now!”

If you are thinking, “This makes no sense,” we at The Thinking Conservative had the exact same thought.

Florida Air Quality Alert in Effect Through Tonight: Residents Advised to Take Precautions

The one way it makes some sense is there are many former residents of Illinois who have moved to Florida and some of the more affluent grain farmers of Illinois winter down in Florida. This news publication could have a pretty respectable readership down in Florida.

MindSeed TV news anchor Casey Nolan does a good job discussing this situation and makes the very valid point that this news should be broadcast as part of a national alert noting, “PM2.5 concentration is currently 2.1 times the World Health Organization annual guideline.”

What Nolan gets wrong in his video though is he assumes PM2.5 is an actual chemical. Actually, it is a unit of measure abbreviation for “particulate matter”. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the standard for “moderate” air quality regarding PM2.5  (fine particulate matter). In this mystery fog the value of PM2.5 is visible to the naked eye. It has been seen in solid format over liquid and the samples viewed in social media videos have been displayed as solids when viewed at night with a flashlight.

So this begs the question, what is in this visible measure of 2.5 particulate matter made of?

One very good content provider and scientific researcher who may have stumbled upon the answer is Brian Gunderson.

“Global Increase SO2 concentrations Jan 01, 2025” – Geomagnetic EarthWatch

Gunderson has determined that the amount of sulfur dioxide around the globe is unusually high due to volcanic activity. Volcanoes such as Kilauea now erupting on the Big Island of Hawaii are a contributor.

“Hawaii’s Kilauea volcano erupts, spews glowing red lava in stunning Christmas display” – Global News

Another volcano that does not get enough credit for bubbling sulfur dioxide up through the Pacific Ocean waters into the atmosphere is Tamu Massif, the largest known single volcano on earth. It sits just east of Japan and is roughly the size of the State of New Mexico.

Also, China which has been bringing more and more coal fired electric generation plants online as well as which generate sulfur dioxide unless they are constructed as clean coal fired plants. It is to be noted China has no equivalent of the EPA.

For this article we have also learned sulfur dioxide pollution can cause sulfur dioxide poisoning which has many of the same symptoms we outlined in our original “Mystery Fog is Making People Sick” article.

Google’s AI Gemini application offered this overview:

Key points about sulfur dioxide effects on the human body:

Respiratory irritation: Primary effect is irritation to the nose, throat, and airways, causing coughing, wheezing, and chest tightness.

Asthma aggravation: People with asthma are particularly sensitive to even low levels of sulfur dioxide, experiencing worsened symptoms like bronchospasm.

Exercise sensitivity: Exercising while exposed to sulfur dioxide can exacerbate respiratory effects due to increased breathing rate.

Lung function impairment: Long-term exposure to high levels of sulfur dioxide can lead to changes in lung function.

Cardiovascular concerns: Some studies link sulfur dioxide exposure to increased cardiovascular risks, particularly in individuals with pre-existing heart conditions.

Eye irritation: Direct contact with high concentrations of sulfur dioxide can irritate the eyes.

CONCLUSION:

There are a lot of odd things going on in the world right now. I found it odd that a news article of Illinois would be talking about an air quality alert in Florida. I found it odd they know the size of the particulate matter of dust visibly seen floating around in the air but do not identify what that particulate matter is. Why would this not be big news all around the nation and world?

It seems like our government is rapidly failing us. It seems like our elected officials are no longer about serving and protecting us. That is a serious problem.

There are people in this world, like in my immediate family, who are allergic to sulfur. It seems like our government is lacking transparency.

Is this what all of those drones were/are monitoring, air quality?

Of course we would be remiss if we did not mention those who are deep into Bible studies offering the times the Bible mentions sulfur:

 Genesis 19:24

“The Lord rained sulfur and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah from heaven to destroy the cities and their inhabitants for their sins.”

Revelation 9:18

“An invading army’s horses breathe out fire, smoke, and sulfur, killing a third of humanity.”

Revelation 20:10

“The devil, the beast, and the false prophet are thrown into a lake of fire and sulfur, where they are tormented forever.”

Finally, for those who do not know what sulfur smells like, it smells like rotten eggs.
