Footage of Omar Cueva shooting New Mexico State Officer Darian Jarrot has been broadcast all over the country. At first glance, it’s not entirely clear to the viewer what is happening behind the camera, that Officer Jarrot was actually working with Homeland Security on Cueva’s case. Attorney Sam Bergman says the federal government did not tell Officer Jarrot about the dangers posed by Cueva and set him up to die. So far, HSI is not commenting.
