Taylor’s NOT So Swift Endorsement

5Mind. The Meme Platform

When I was a young boy we had an expression we used, “That was swift!”

It could be used with double or parallel meanings. It could mean the friend you said it to, did something really stupid or the reaction to their action really happened swiftly.

As an example; One time a friend bought a $100 Schwinn ten-speed bike because I had one. He then decided to experiment going down a grassy hill and slamming the front handbrake on without applying the rear one at all. The result was the front wheel of the bike stopped and he and the bike both summersaulted through the air. My response was, “Wow, that was swift!”

Many music fans and political analysts are now thinking if not saying the same thing about music sensation Taylor Swift’s recent endorsement of vice president Kamala Harris’ campaign for president.

So, the first way Swift was attacked for her poor decision of endorsement was by countless humorous memes on the Internet but then things took a more serious turn attacking Swift’s hypocrisy relative to climate change and her means of travel around the world, jet setting.

“Taylor Swift’s Two Private Jets in 2023: Where Did They Go?” – Ground Control

This video concludes with the following statement attacking Swift:

“Swift’s two private jets flew 178,000 miles in 2023 equivalent to flying around the earth 7 times emitting 1,200 tons of Co2 in the process. That’s 83 times the average American.”

But, in defense of Swift, the same way I would defend any such video prepared relative to Donald Trump going to his rallies, anybody with a brain knows Swift and Trump actually keep carbon emissions down when they, as a single individual, jet out to their people rather than have the tens of thousands of their people fly into a location to see them. That is just logic and common sense. It also shows Swift one way she shares something in common with President Donald Trump and they are not so different, but if she reads this she will probably instantly go insane.

A far more serious way Swift was attacked, if true, exposes her as being more like vice president Kamala Harris, a fake. The allegation holds that Taylor Swift has been lip-syncing many of her concerts on her world tours thus deceiving her fans who pay millions of dollars to see and HEAR her.

And before Taylor Swift’s Swiftie fans and liberal Democrats get more of their hate on for Donald Trump and his conservative Republican voters (like me) they should know that this revelation came NOT from one of us but from a young British guitarist named Fil Henley who has absolutely no skin in the game of American politics.

“Taylor Swift’s $2 Billion tour revenue… for miming?” – Wings of Pegasus

So what is even funnier, and more interesting about this story, is Taylor Swift’s Swiftie fans then came out to attack Wings of Pregasus so he did a second video which confirmed everything he found in the first, calibrated Auto-Tune was used at multiple Swift tour concerts. Sometimes low intellect liberals would do themselves a favor by learning to shut their mouths rather than dig their holes deeper.

“Taylor Swift’s fans demanded THIS analysis. BUT… are we all prepared for the results?” – Wings of Pegasus

Podcaster Benny Johnson and friend of Donald Trump did a pretty good show and observation on Taylor Swift recently. He basically comes to the conclusion Swift should learn a lesson and NOT endorse any future political candidates. Most of America would agree, all celebrities should stay in their lanes!

A final blow to Swift was when failed has-been comedian Kathy Griffin called Swift out this past week on social media platforms. Griffin trashed her own career when she held up a model severed head of Donald Trump after he was elected president the first time back in 2016. Her career has never recovered after that little indiscretion. Apparently, in an effort to become relevant again, Griffin thought she should invoke the name of Taylor Swift.

CONCLUSION:

Taylor Swift and I go way back.

Back in 2006, when I first began to listen to Taylor Swift, I was brand new to country music dating an honest to God cowgirl. Swift was only 17 years old when her hit single “Tim McGraw” took off.

In 2014 Taylor Swift left country music and Nashville for New York and seemingly left any relatedness she had to the conservative Christian fan base that made her big. I deleted her music from my playlists.

In 2023 my grandchildren attended a Taylor Swift concert and my feelings about them attending were neutral until I found out what they paid when I had to ask, “ARE YOU INSANE!?”

In 2024, one of the country starts I loved and admired most Toby Keith passed away. I knew he was the only performer who to play for Donald Trump in 2017 at his inauguration party. I did not know how he discovered Taylor Swift and blew her up to stardom in 2006. She said nothing about his passing.

Like Donald Trump, I am big on loyalty and giving thanks. That is why I hate both Nikki Haley and Taylor Swift equally now. The term “back stabbers” keeps coming to mind when I think of them.

As a Christian I will never wish someone ill but in the case of Taylor Swift and her irrational hatred for Donald Trump, I do hope people do start talking about her alleged lip-syncing (miming if you are a Brit) while on tour. If true, this clearly presents a false persona, or, as the libs like to say these days, “misinformation”.

Watch and listen to the two videos by Fil Henley and decide for yourself.
