The next Presidential race is on. One probable candidate is Mike Pompeo, a former CIA director and Secretary of State. Pompeo just released this book about his career. What follows is my hour-long interview with this very smart politician. He’s surprised me by saying a bunch of things I liked. But also I disagree with him about a lot. He calls legalizing drugs a terrible idea, and he says Edward Snowden should be killed. But I’m glad Pompeo’s willing to debate, that’s rare among politicians these days, and I’m glad he has a sense of humor.
