The greatest media coverup of the century

5Mind. The Meme Platform

For years, anyone doubting President Joe Biden’s competency has been gaslighted by the White House and other Democrats and told they were wrong. Even more infuriating is that the legacy leftist media played along with it. But after the president’s calamitous debate performance, the media was caught flatfooted and, to save face, is now pretending it didn’t know all along.

Another dirty secret was exposed last week when Biden’s campaign was caught supplying questions to the media.

A radio host of “The Source” on WURD 96.1 FM admitted her interview with Biden last Wednesday was preceded by pre-written questions provided by the president’s staff.

The host resigned on Sunday.

Clearly, the media is no longer able to serve as a mouthpiece for Biden the way it has been for so many years during the Obama presidency.

Of course, everyone remembers how hostile the media was during the Trump presidency.

As Josh Hammer succinctly put it, “The yearslong effort by Biden administration flunkies, Democratic Party poohbahs and pro-Regime media stenographers to forcefully deny Biden’s obvious physical and mental decline will go down as the single greatest lie in American history.”

Bari Weiss also laid out the issue well in The Free Press.

“The debate was not just a catastrophe for President Biden… It was a catastrophe for an entire class of experts, journalists, and pundits, who have, since 2020, insisted that Biden was sharp as a tack, on top of his game…”

Weiss continued, slamming the media for gaslighting the doubters.

“Anyone who committed the sin of using their own eyes on the 46th president was accused, variously, of being Trumpers; MAGA cult members who don’t want American democracy to survive; ageists; or just dummies easily duped by ‘disinformation,’ ‘misinformation,’ ‘fake news,’ and, most recently, ‘cheapfakes.’”

Thank goodness for people like Hammer and Weiss.

Let’s forget, for a brief moment, that Biden is no longer capable of acting as leader of the free world, cannot make important decisions on a daily basis, and certainly is not available when the 3 AM phone call comes in.

His lack of acuity is a problem, without a doubt, but let’s for a moment look at his policies.

Biden and his fellow Democrats love to point out his supposed successes, but the failures completely outweigh any good Biden has done for this country.

The Biden administration is guilty of allowing open borders, causing uncontrollable inflation, and acting completely subservient to China.

As former President Donald Trump said, Biden is trying to “make China great again.”

With these dangerous policies, the Biden administration is leading America down the path of self-destruction.

Some would call it treason.

Thankfully, some Democrats have come to their senses.

Reps.  Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.), Joe Morelle (D-N.Y.), Adam Smith (D-Wash.), and Mark Takano (D-Calif.) have all called on Biden to step aside.

Former President Barack Obama’s ex-top strategist David Axelrod predicted on Sunday that Biden is more likely to “lose by a landslide” than eke out a victory.

“He’s not winning this race,” said Axelrod. “If you just look at the data and talk to people around the country, political people around the country, it’s more likely that he’ll lose by a landslide than win narrowly this race.”

But this is not enough. More people need to comeout and say what everyone already knows: Joe Biden is incapable of serving as president for a second term.

Let’s just hope Vice President Kamala Harris doesn’t win.

Then we’ll be wishing for Biden.
