Today’s Must Watch: Sen. Kennedy’s Excruciating Questioning of Biden’s Equity/Diversity Judge Picks

During January 25, 2023 hearing of the U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary, Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) questioned Joe Biden’s Federal District Court nominees, Charnelle Bjelkengren and Matthew Brookman, Orelia Eleta Merchant, Michael Farbiarz, Robert Kirsch and it was like watching a slow-moving train wreck.

Judge Bjelkengren couldn’t even explain what Article II or Article IV of the U.S. Constitution is about. It all goes downhill from there. Suddenly, in all the cringeworthiness one can tolerate, the group of nominees exposes the outcome of affirmative action, diversity, and social equity as a qualification for a federal court judge.

One can see and hear the exasperation and disappointment in Senator Kennedy as he scrambles to find some competency among the five before him.

God Bless America – it’s all the hope we have left.
