Treasonous: U.S. companies choosing short-term profit over national security interests

Attorney General Bill Barr talks with Maria Bartiromo on the betrayal of U.S. companies choosing short-term profit over national security interests. The Chinese Communist Party is our enemy. Helping it become more of a threat to America is treasonous.

Narrator: Ever wonder how the Chinese Communist party is gotten so rich and powerful and dangerous so fast it turns out big American businesses and Wall Street financiers have been unable in it. Here’s what the U.S. attorney general recently said about this betrayal.

Maria Bartiromo: Can you tell me a bit about what the CCP is doing I know there’s been a real rethinking of the relationship between the United States and China.

AG William Barr: The American Business Community has been a big part of the problem because they’re willing, ultimately, many of them, to sacrifice the long-term viability of their companies for short-term profits so they can get their stock options and move into the golf resort. That’s what’s driving some of this. They’re not taking the long-term view and the national view of maintaining American, of maintaining American strength.

Maria Bartiromo: Will, I was talking with one money manager of the other day and he said, look Maria, I’m not going to call good bad, good guys and bad guys. It’s not my role to call at good guys and bad guy so, yeah, the growth is in China and that’s why I want to invest.

AG William Barr: Well, you know what, we’re not speaking German today because American business in the past didn’t think that way. We still live in United States and of all the privileges and the benefits and the stability in the rule of law, and the ability to profit as they do of his companies and individuals comes from the strength of this country.

Narrator: The Chinese Communist Party is our enemy. Helping it become more of a threat to America is treasonous. Complicit Wall Street and other businesses must stop betraying our country or face the consequences.
