The 2012 presidential election cycle featured a vice presidential debate consisting of incumbent Vice President Joe Biden, a Democrat, and Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, a Republican. Moderated by Martha Raddatz of ABC, it took place on October 11, 2012, in Danville, Kentucky.
